From domino rallies to mobile apps—my journey building OuiDecide

About Me

My name is Brazos Donaho. I grew up in the Bay Area and have always been fascinated by computers, creativity, and how technology shapes the world around us. I started using technology at a young age—building a YouTube channel at age ten where I posted domino rallies, Rube Goldberg machines, stop-motion clips, and original animations. I also began experimenting with music production in FL Studio, discovering how sound, patterns, and technology could come together to create something entirely new.

I’ve always loved math and recognizing structure in the world. I also experience synesthesia, which allows me to see letters and numbers as specific colors, making patterns vivid and intuitive. As a neurodivergent thinker, I process information in unique ways, which has given me a special perspective when it comes to problem-solving, design, and building tools that help people connect. This early love of technology naturally led me to pursue a degree in computer science.

Education & Inspiration

I studied computer science at UC Berkeley, where I explored a wide range of disciplines—from computing for music to graphics programming, machine learning, robotics, microprocessor programming, and user interface design. The variety of subjects I studied helped me understand the depth and possibilities within the world of computing.

Working on group projects also taught me something just as important: how to collaborate effectively. I learned how to adapt to different work styles, communicate clearly, and navigate the fast-paced, high-pressure challenges that often come with building something meaningful with others.

These experiences helped shape both the way I think about technology and the way I build products today.

Building OuiDecide

After college, I set my focus on mobile app development because it combines creativity, engineering, and real-world impact. I wanted to build something fun, social, and genuinely useful—something that helps people make decisions together without the stress, confusion, or endless back-and-forth.

That's why I built OuiDecide.

OuiDecide is a mobile, social app where friend groups can easily vote on anything—from choosing a place to get dinner, to deciding what movie to watch, or even picking the perfect outfit for a big night out. It turns everyday decisions into a simple, fun, and social experience.

Whether you're planning a night with friends, organizing a trip, or just want a quick opinion, OuiDecide makes group decision-making effortless.
